Album Art: Back Cover

We received feedback on the back cover, which was that the back cover looked quite sparse in the original design, so we needed to try a few more designs, perhaps including pictures on the back as well.

Above is an animoto of all of the designs that we came up with. The ones we decided were the best are below:

We thought that this design was quite nice for the back cover, as it was synergistic with the accordion-style gallery that we have on our website. However, the colours of the photos don't really match with the front cover, and it is too contrasting with the minimalist style of the front cover.

This one we liked as it helped to establish our band member's on the digipak cover, and the 'taped' style of the pictures was also synergistic with how images are displayed on our website. The green of the pictures also does not clash too much with the minimalist style of the front cover.

This design was nice as it still remained very minimalist, but with the rainbow border around the track list and also the 'taped' style of the border. This would have, again, maintained synergy between our album cover and website.
In the end, we chose the design with all four band members on the back cover, as we felt that the pictures of our band in different costume provided variety from the inside cover, but still built upon the individual band member's identities as well as the band as a whole, their costumes and poses making them seem quite indie.

Our final design
