With regards to the layout of our digipak, we wanted to have the front cover with the band logo, and then the back cover with a track list.
We felt that this design was the best for our front and back cover as it is very simplistic, and the colour scheme and font are the same as our website to maintain a synergistic marketing campaign across the two texts. |
On the inside cover we wanted to have the picture below, across both panels, as it includes all four members, and looked very quirky, representing the band's playful image quite well, contributing to the band identity being created.
The image we wanted to have on the inside cover. This demonstrated our individual band member identities with the different facial expressions, but also our playfulness as a band, with us holding Jacob in this pose helping to connote this. This would appeal to the indie-pop audience as it is creating quite humorous characters, that they could aspire/relate to, regardless of age or gender. |
During one of our production meetings, we decided to brainstorm ideas for track names.
A list of potential track names that we came up with. We came up with more than was needed so that we had back-ups if we changed our mind. We then put these onto the back panel of our digipak, drawing inspiration from The 1975 and The XX.
Once we had done all of this, the result was the digipak shown below, which we need to get feedback on. We also still need to add more institutional information, but our main concern is ensuring our design is approved.
